How To Add Users To Your Google Analytics Account

Google Analytics is a really powerful – and free! – tool to learn about and understand who is visiting your site, what content they find interesting, and to visualize your sales funnels.

With information that powerful, you’ll want to be able to share that with a select number of people. Thankfully Google makes that easy and secure. You can give anyone access to your Google Analytics account as long as they have a Google account.

After you login to your Google Analytics account, click on “User Manager”:

On the User Manager screen – click on “Add User”:

On the following screen, you will have 4 steps:

  1. Enter the Google Account email of person you’d like to give access to
  2. Select the site or sites you’d like them to be able to see reports for
  3. Click Add
  4. Save changes!

Now, if you wanted to give the user full administrative privileges, right under the arrow with the number 1 on it is a drop down for “Access Type”. Choose full Administrative Privileges and the user will be able to view, add Goals, and configure more sites under your profile:
